His photographs call us higher, to help us examine our lives as we are living them. The power of a face, the span of a city, the spray on a wave - these are the subjects Ther places on the pedestal of portraiture. He is a sculptor: from within the plainness of rock he carves beauty.</span></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Born in Bangkok, Thailand, he was raised by his grandmother until relocating to Washington, DC at the age of six and reunited his family. He's been experiencing life and movement ever since.
